Our aim is to provide our youth opportunites to learn soccer for first time or continue to develop their skills and advance in the beautiful game. We have three brand new sections to choose for your player between 3 and 8 years old! Check below for more information on our Kickstart, Jumpstart and Touchsmart programs.
Kickstart (formerly known as Soccer-nastics) is a fundamental program for kids ages 3 and 4. Designed as a motor skill program, Kickstart has been molded into the premier introductory program to soccer for pre-school aged kids.Parents play along side their kids during the session so both parent and child learn the basics of movement, running, dribbling and ball touches with the surfaces of the foot. The one requirement for both parents and players is you must be prepared to have FUN!
Jumpstart (formerly known as Joga) is a soccer skill development program for 5 and 6 year olds. Jumpstart works on the basic fundamentals of the youth soccer game: dribbling, passing and basic receiving. Experienced youth coaches run every session with 30 minutes of skill building and another 15-30 minutes of game experience. Jumpstart is a great program for beginners and more experienced players alike. Our coaching staff will be able to challenge all players at any level! Fun required!
Touchsmart (formerly known as Toca) is a pathway between the Jumpstart sessions and the Academy. Offering more quality touches and advanced moves, players 7 and 8 will develop special skills to help them grow into their playing style and confidence on the ball. Touchsmart will provide small-sided games, fun activities where players will have lots of opportunities to be on the ball, make game-type decisions and be active. Emphasis will be placed on ball control, receiving, shielding, passing, turning, creative moves and shooting on goal.
**Preferred times and days: when registering and selecting your first and second choice keep in mind we may not be able to accommodate all requests. We try our best to fit everyone where they register and we will try to get each time slot filled. If a slot doesn't have enough we will move players around as best we can to ensure we have full time slots. Thank you
We will need a copy of your child's Birth Certificate on file at the DASC office before your child will be allowed to participate in any of the programs. You can email a copy to or fax to 605-332-0278 or bring to the office at 401 W. 39th Street.
